Endeavour

On Wednesday September 19th, 2012, the Space Shuttle Endeavour landed at Ellington Field.  

My mother, my little sister and I had the great privilege to go and see it in person up close.  And I mean up close!  I took about a million pictures of the shuttle and of other things that where around us.  

I couldn't decide which one to be more amazed by; the space shuttle or the plane that can carry it!

This shot is my favorite!!! I don't really know why but I love it!

Phillip & Kelly {Haak Vineyard and Winery}

It is quite fascinating how things in our lives come about.  A quick summary of what I am talking about goes something like this:  Through a friend I met another, through the new friend I met another, through that friend, through that friend (I think you get the idea) I had the great privilege to meet Alyse!  Alyse is for certain one of the nicest people I have ever met - not to mention an extremely talented photographer!  And the cherry on top of this little story is that I get to be her assistant/second shooter in a few events coming up!  If you know me at all you can imagine that I ran in circles for a few days out of pure excitement.

A little over a week ago I got to tag along with Alyse for Phillip and Kelly's engagement session.  I am not going to lie; it was . . . extremely fun!  Phillip and Kelly where great to shoot for several reasons.  They are both photogenic, very cute together, and  - what can I say - plain fun to be around.
Thus, a great learning experience!
