Festival of Lights / Christmas Eve Dinner

   Friday night, our family went down to Galveston Island to see the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens!!  It was cold and the breeze coming off of the ocean was really freezing my fingers.  Haha  It was a nice walk and you could smell kettle corn and funnel cakes in the air.

   Christmas Eve, our family had our Christmas Dinner.  I took a few snaps of the table settings.

Santa's Coming to Town

   A few weeks ago my sister had her friend, Patricia, over to the house.  Every year, a week or two before Christmas, Santa rides through the neighborhood on a fire truck.  Santa goes down every street and throws candy to the kids.  Kind of a random tradition, but it's fun.  No matter what time he comes, Katherine dosen't like to miss him.  Haha  The girls got up very early and waited about an hour for their Christmas candy.
